What differentiates White Portland Cement from Ordinary Portland Cement? White Portland Cement maintains hardening property which is of Ordinary Portland Cement, and shows bright-white itself minimizing Fe2O3.
Due to these properties, it is widely used in not only interior & exterior finishing materials but also secondary products for better appearances in architecture.


White Portland Cement is produced by high quality limestone that contains low Fe2O3 and less coloring elements and by carefully selected heating sources.
Also, through the special processes such as calcination at 1,450C that is higher temperature than Ordinary Portland Cement’s and water quenching, it achieves pure white cement by minimizing coloring elements (Fe2O3).

DURABILITYExcellent Durability

The main composition of Ordinary Portland Cement is 3CaO·SiO2, 2CaO·SiO2, 3CaO·Al2O3, 4CaO·Al2O3·Fe2O3 and CaSO4·2H2O as main mineral phases. When it meets water, it forms hydrated minerals and characterizes strength improvement. Whereas, White Portland Cement by Union corp. enhances its strength since it contains thrice 3CaO·SiO2 than OPL does.
